The Image block lets you add static images or GIFs to your email and landing page templates. Images can be sourced from your Image Library, uploaded directly, or generated using AI.
Understand the Image block
The Image block supports three source options.
Upload Image – Upload your own image file directly into the Image Library.
More Images – Browse and select from your Image Library folders or from the stock image search.
Magic Image – Use AI to generate an image from a text description.
Once added, images can be configured with alternate text, a clickable link, and width settings, and can be edited using the built-in image editor.
Before you start
Review the following before working with the Image block.
The Image block must be placed inside a column within a Columns row. It cannot be added directly to the canvas.
Supported file formats include JPG, PNG, and GIF. The file size limit per upload is 2 MB.
A maximum of 10 images can be uploaded simultaneously.
Alternate text should always be added to image blocks for accessibility. Missing alternate text will be flagged by the Audit tool.
The image editor's Merge function permanently applies edits and saves them as a new image file. This action cannot be undone.

Additional information
The following covers additional topics related to the Image block.
Images tab and Image block
The Images tab in the right-side panel provides access to millions of stock images from Unsplash, Pexels, and Pixabay, and AI image generation via See the Magic. The Image block is the content block you add to your template. It contains its own upload, Image Library, and Magic Image options within the block settings panel.
Supported file types
Standard image formats are supported, including JPG, PNG, and GIF. Each file must be 2 MB or smaller, and up to 10 files can be uploaded at once.
Image audit flags
The Audit tool flags images that are missing alternate text or that have no image source URL. Complete the Alternate Text field and ensure the image URL is populated.
Undo and Merge in the image editor
You can undo changes using the undo button within the editor session. However, if you click Merge, the edits are permanently applied to the image file and cannot be undone. Avoid using Merge unless you are certain the edits are final.
Image Library folders
Use the New Folder button in the Image Library to create folders. Images can be stored in folders to keep assets organised by property, campaign, or content type.
