Everything you need to know to get started as a marketing manager in CRM.

Written by Fernando Fallabrino

As a marketing manager in CRM, your focus is creating and managing campaigns, emails, and segments to engage your guests and drive bookings. The CRM gives you the tools to monitor performance, build targeted audiences, and optimise your communications from one place.

This guide introduces the main areas of the CRM you'll work in day to day.

Log in for the first time

To access the CRM, navigate to your login URL and sign in with your account credentials.

  • Navigate to your CRM login URL, provided during onboarding, and enter your username and password.

  • Click Log In, usernames are not case-sensitive.

  • Set up two-factor authentication (2FA) by clicking your username in the top-right corner, then clicking Authentication Settings.

  • Choose email authentication (default) or mobile app authentication using Authy, Duo, Google Authenticator, or Microsoft Authenticator.

  • Reset your password at any time using the Forgot Password link on the login screen.

🤓 Tip: Mobile app authentication is recommended for stronger account security, as it uses a separate device that only you can access.

Use the dashboard

The CRM dashboard gives every user a personalised, flexible workspace for monitoring campaign performance, email activity, and contact growth.

  • Navigate to the Dashboard from the left navigation menu to view all your configured widgets.

  • Add, edit, and reorder widgets to build a workspace showing the metrics most relevant to you.

  • Use email widgets to track sent, opened, and failed emails, and view upcoming scheduled sends.

  • Use campaign widgets to monitor contacts entering campaigns and events triggered over time.

  • Apply date range filters to adjust the data shown across all widgets, then click Apply to refresh.

🤓 Tip: Keep date ranges tight for faster widget performance, and use consistent heights for widgets in the same row.

Manage campaigns and emails

The CRM's campaign and email tools let you create targeted communications and monitor their performance from send to delivery.

  • Build and manage campaigns using the CRM's campaign management tools.

  • Monitor campaign email processing through the Email Activity Log, check send status, batch progress, and delivery issues.

  • Verify that email templates are valid and published before sending to avoid errors.

  • Use the failed count and response message columns in the Email Activity Log to understand the scope of any delivery issues.

Manage segments

Segments let you build targeted groups of contacts for your campaigns. Keeping them accurate and up to date is essential for effective communications.

  • Build segments to create targeted groups of guests and contacts for your campaigns.

  • Monitor segment refresh status using the Segment Activity Log, segments refresh nightly by default.

  • Manually refresh segments when needed, your username appears in the triggered by column to confirm the action.

  • Use contact widgets on the dashboard to monitor segment size and contact growth over time.
