The Menu block displays a horizontal list of labelled links within a template. Each menu item has its own label, action type, and destination. Menu items adjust automatically based on the width of the template column they are placed in.
Menu blocks are commonly used for navigation-style templates, multi-link footers, or any situation where you want to present recipients with a set of clearly labelled link choices.
Before you start
Review the following before working with the Menu block.
The Menu block must be placed inside a column within a Columns row. It cannot be added directly to the canvas.
Each menu item must have a label and a configured destination. Items without a link will be flagged by the Audit tool.
Menu items display horizontally and reflow based on the template width. Test your template on mobile before publishing.

Additional information
The following covers additional information about the Menu block.
Audit flags on menu items
The Audit tool flags menu items that have no URL or destination configured. Each item must have a populated URL, email address, or phone number in the URL field before publishing.
Menu item count and mobile rendering
There is no set maximum number of menu items. Menu items display horizontally and reflow based on the template column width. On narrow columns or mobile screens, a large number of items may wrap to multiple lines. Test your template before publishing.
Action types within a menu block
Each menu item is configured independently. One item can open a website, another can initiate an email, and another can trigger a phone call, all within the same Menu block.
Menu item order
Use the drag handle (grip icon) on the left side of each item in the Menu Items panel to drag items into the desired order. Items can be reordered at any time after they have been added.
