June 2026 release note

June 2026 release notes and information regarding highlights have been outlined.

Written by Xanthe Jackson

What's new?

This release delivers three significant enhancements, a redesigned guest profile experience, a new last stay loyalty program type, and campaign category management now built directly into CRMAdmin, alongside a broad round of quality improvements across Loyalty & Membership, Campaign Journey Builder, and the Email Designer.

Guest profile: redesigned experience

The guest list and guest profile pages have been rebuilt as a modern single-page application, delivering a substantially faster and more intuitive experience for CRM administrators.

Guest list

The guests search page has been updated with a richer filtering experience. Filters are now grouped into collapsible sections, Address & Contact, Tiers & Programs, and Advanced, making it easier to find what you need without the page feeling cluttered. The results table now supports expandable rows showing key guest details inline, configurable page sizes, and a CSV export.

Guest profile header & tier progress

The top of the guest detail page has been redesigned to give you a clear, at-a-glance view of the guest. Key highlights:

  • A profile card showing the guest's avatar (or initials), name, loyalty status badges, Loyal, VIP, Active/Inactive, Loyalty Member ID, tier, join date, and last tier update date.

  • A stats row summarizing lifetime spend, room revenue, non-room revenue, room nights, total stays, and loyalty credit balance.

  • Quick-access cards for last stay, next stay, email, and do not contact status.

  • For loyalty members: a Tier Progress section showing progress toward the next tier across Stays, Nights, and Spend, with visual progress bars, qualification end date, and days into the current cycle.

12-Tab navigation

All sections of the guest record are now accessible from a single tabbed page, no more full page reloads when switching between sections. Tabs include: guest information, guest preferences, reservations, transactions, earning, reward, subscriptions, communications, profile audit log, merge candidates, additional programs, and reviews. Tabs are shown or hidden based on your program's feature configuration.

Guest information form

The edit form has been updated with improved controls throughout: searchable dropdowns for country, state, language, member level, and salutation; international dial code support on phone number fields; date pickers with validation; and inline duplicate email detection.

Field visibility controls for system-level users

System-level administrators can now see which fields are hidden from client-level users, indicated by an eye-slash icon on each affected field. A Toggle Client View button lets system admins preview the page exactly as a client user would see it, useful for validating configuration changes before they go live.

📌Note: A classic view toggle is available on all updated pages if you need to revert to the previous interface at any time.

Campaign categories, now managed in CRMAdmin

Categories, used to organize emails, campaigns, forms, and pages, were previously managed in an external application. They are now fully managed within CRMAdmin under Campaign Management Tools, then Categories.

Categories list

A new categories page provides a searchable, sortable list of all your categories. You can filter by name or by bundle type (Email, Campaign, Form, Page, Global), and publish or unpublish categories directly from the list with a single click. Bulk deletion is also supported for tidying up multiple categories at once.

Creating and editing categories

Categories can now be created and edited on dedicated pages within CRMAdmin. When creating a category you can set the title, bundle type, description, alias, color, and published status. The alias is auto-generated if left blank. The same fields are available when editing an existing category.

📌Note: The workflow for adding categories from within a Campaign or Email is unchanged, it now simply routes to the new centralized page behind the scenes.

Last stay program cycle, new loyalty program type

⚠️Important: Last Stay program cycle is a new program type available in Loyalty Setup, then Programme Settings. This is not a recommended program type for most properties. If you are considering this program type, or wish to make any changes to program cycle, program term, or program start date, involvement from your SHR Account Team and an agreed project plan is required.

Last stay is designed for stay-count-based qualification only, it does not support room night or spend thresholds, and is not a standard model in hospitality loyalty programs. Because qualification windows are anchored to each individual member's last stay rather than a shared program calendar, members have no consistent reference point for understanding where they stand in the program, which can create confusion and reduce engagement. SHR recommends membership or program calendar cycles for the majority of use cases.

If you are considering this program type, or wish to make any changes to program cycle, program term, or program start date, involvement from your SHR Account Team and an agreed project plan is required. Changing these settings without the appropriate migration steps can have unintended effects on member tiers and historical qualification data. Please contact your Customer Success Manager before proceeding.

The following changes have been made to Programme Settings. These are documented here for visibility; configuration should only be undertaken with SHR team guidance.

Extended program term options

The program term dropdown now supports terms of up to 5 years (previously capped at 3). This applies to all program cycle types.

Last stay cycle type

A third program cycle option, last stay, is now available alongside Membership and Program Calendar. Under this cycle, a member's qualification period is anchored to the date of their most recent qualifying stay, rather than a fixed calendar date or their join date. When Last Stay is selected, two additional configuration options appear:

  • Minimum activity threshold: Sets the minimum number of qualifying stays required within a term before tier evaluation applies at term expiry. A value of 0 applies base Last Stay behaviour with no minimum.

  • Cumulative stay counter: Always active under this cycle type. Enables members to progress through multiple tiers across term resets by tracking qualifying stays cumulatively.

No-Show reservation inclusion

A new toggle, Include No-Show Reservations for Tier and Term Calculations, allows no-show reservations to count as qualifying stays for tier and term calculations under the Last Stay cycle. This is off by default. When enabled, administrators are prompted to make a one-time decision on whether the setting should apply retroactively to historical reservations; this choice is locked after saving and cannot be reversed without contacting support.

Change confirmation dialog

When program cycle, program term, or program start date are changed, a confirmation dialog now requires the user to type CONFIRM before the change is applied, providing an additional safeguard against accidental modifications to live program configuration.

Member-level term dates on guest profile

For programs using the last stay cycle, individual term dates are now visible on the guest detail page and guest portal, including Membership Term Start, Membership Term End, Last Qualifying Stay Date, and Cumulative Stays Count. These fields are only shown for loyalty members on last stay programs.
